Terms of Use

Last Updated: June 22, 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website, online content, forms, booking pages, payment links, digital products, subscriptions, and other online materials operated by Lone Star Dog Training and Care LLC ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"). By using our website, submitting a form, purchasing online content, booking a service, or communicating with us through our website or linked online platforms, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use the website or purchase services through the website.

1. Who We Are

Lone Star Dog Training and Care LLC is a dog training and care business located in Round Rock, Texas. Public contact email: lonestardogtraining@gmail.com.

2. Website Terms vs. Signed Service Agreement

These Terms apply to website use, online content, online purchases, digital products, payment links, booking requests, contact forms, and general online interactions.

Board and Train, boarding, private lessons, evaluations, transportation, socialization training, grooming, specialized training, or any other in-person or direct dog care services may require a separate written service agreement, intake forms, health and vaccination documents, payment confirmation, and written acceptance by Lone Star Dog Training and Care LLC. If a signed service agreement applies, the signed agreement controls over any inconsistent statement on the website.

Submitting a form, sending a message, purchasing a digital product, or making a payment does not guarantee acceptance of a dog, service availability, specific dates, or a particular training outcome.

3. Eligibility and Client Responsibility

By using the website or requesting services, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into agreements. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information.

You are responsible for the accuracy of all information you provide, including your contact information, dog information, health information, behavior history, medication instructions, vaccination records, prevention records, emergency contacts, and payment information.

4. Services Described on the Website

The website may describe dog training, Board and Train, boarding, private lessons, online lessons, evaluations, socialization, digital products, subscriptions, educational content, transportation, and related services. Service descriptions are general information only. Actual services, dates, pricing, requirements, deliverables, and conditions may vary depending on the dog, owner, schedule, trainer availability, health and behavior disclosures, safety considerations, and written agreement.

We reserve the right to accept, decline, pause, modify, or discontinue any service at our discretion, including when we believe a dog, owner, situation, health issue, behavioral concern, or undisclosed information may create a safety, welfare, legal, scheduling, or operational concern.

5. Health, Vaccination, Medication, and Safety Requirements

For any service involving in-person training, boarding, Board and Train, transportation, or care of a dog, we may require health and safety information before acceptance. This may include, without limitation, proof of current vaccinations, veterinarian information, medication instructions, allergy information, diet information, flea, tick, and heartworm prevention status, the name and date of the most recent prevention product used, behavioral history, bite history, reactivity, anxiety, crate history, special needs, and emergency contact information.

A dog may be declined or removed from services if required records are missing, inaccurate, incomplete, expired, or if we determine that the dog may pose a health, safety, behavioral, or operational risk. The owner remains responsible for all veterinary care, emergency care, medications, food, special handling, damages, pickup, transportation, and other costs associated with the dog unless a signed written agreement states otherwise.

Website summaries of health or service requirements are not a substitute for the signed service agreement, intake forms, or written instructions provided for a specific service.

6. No Veterinary Advice or Emergency Services

Our website, online lessons, social media content, digital products, messages, and training materials are for educational and informational purposes only. They are not veterinary advice, medical diagnosis, emergency assistance, or a substitute for care from a licensed veterinarian or qualified professional.

If your dog is sick, injured, in pain, showing sudden behavior changes, has ingested something dangerous, has difficulty breathing, is having seizures, is aggressive in a way that creates immediate danger, or may need emergency care, contact a veterinarian, emergency veterinary clinic, animal control, or local emergency services as appropriate.

7. No Guarantee of Results

Dog training results are not guaranteed. Dogs are living animals, and behavior may be affected by genetics, health, environment, owner consistency, household structure, reinforcement history, stress, age, breed tendencies, prior training, follow-through, and many other factors.

We may provide instruction, structure, recommendations, demonstrations, written guidance, videos, or educational materials, but long-term results depend on the owner’s ongoing practice, consistency, management, environment, and responsible care. We do not guarantee elimination of behavioral issues, future behavior, permanent obedience, public-access behavior, off-leash reliability, or safety in every situation.

8. Booking, Availability, and Acceptance

All services are subject to availability and approval. A booking request is not confirmed until we accept the booking in writing, required payments are received, required documents are completed, and any required service agreement is signed.

We may decline or reschedule a booking for any reason permitted by law, including schedule limitations, incomplete records, safety concerns, health concerns, behavioral concerns, failure to pay, failure to disclose relevant information, weather, illness, emergency, business needs, or circumstances beyond our control.

9. Payments, Deposits, Processing Fees, and Prices

Prices are subject to change unless confirmed in writing. Payment may be accepted through methods we choose to offer, which may include Zelle, cash, Venmo, PayPal, Square, Stripe, credit card, debit card, payment link, invoice, or another method. We do not guarantee that every payment method will be available for every service.

Where permitted by law and payment processor rules, card, online, third-party, or expedited payment processing fees may be added or passed through. Any applicable processing fee will be disclosed before payment is completed when required.

Payment card information is generally processed by third-party payment processors and not stored by us in full card-number form.

10. Refund, Cancellation, Rescheduling, and No-Show Policy

Unless a separate signed agreement states otherwise, payments for scheduled services, deposits, evaluations, private lessons, online lessons, digital products, subscriptions, and reserved service dates may be non-refundable to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Board and Train, boarding, training, evaluation, and other reserved services require advance scheduling and limited availability. Once a service is reserved, we may decline other clients, hold space, prepare for the dog, allocate time, and schedule business operations around that reservation.

Specific refund, cancellation, rescheduling, deposit, and no-show terms may be stated in a signed service agreement, invoice, checkout page, written confirmation, or service-specific policy. If a signed agreement applies, that agreement controls. Refunds required by applicable law will be honored.

11. Digital Products, Online Lessons, Subscriptions, and Online Content

Digital products, PDFs, videos, online lessons, subscriptions, downloadable materials, private content, and online educational materials are for personal, non-commercial use only. Unless we state otherwise in writing, you may not copy, share, resell, teach, publish, upload, repost, distribute, create competing materials from, or commercially exploit our digital content.

Digital products and online content may be non-refundable once purchased, delivered, accessed, downloaded, viewed, scheduled, or made available, except where required by law or expressly agreed in writing.

Subscription content may change over time. We may add, remove, update, pause, or discontinue content, features, or subscription benefits at our discretion, subject to any applicable platform rules and legal requirements.

12. Website Content and Intellectual Property

The website, text, service descriptions, photos, videos, graphics, logos, training materials, PDFs, downloads, digital products, course materials, social media content, trademarks, trade names, designs, and other materials are owned by or licensed to Lone Star Dog Training and Care LLC and are protected by copyright, trademark, trade dress, and other laws.

You may view public website content for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may share public links using normal platform sharing tools. You may not copy, scrape, download, modify, repost, publish, sell, resell, distribute, teach, train AI systems on, or commercially exploit our content without written permission.

13. User Submissions, Photos, Videos, Reviews, and Messages

If you submit messages, testimonials, reviews, comments, photos, videos, dog information, training updates, or other materials to us through the website, forms, email, text, direct message, social media, or other channels, you represent that you have the right to submit them and that they do not violate the rights of another person.

To the extent you submit content for public use, testimonial use, review use, promotional use, educational use, or business use, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, display, publish, edit, excerpt, and share that content for lawful business, educational, informational, marketing, website, and social media purposes. Separate signed media releases or service agreements may provide additional rights.

We appreciate honest reviews. We do not require reviews to be positive, and we do not prohibit honest opinions about our services. We may, however, report, remove, or respond to content that is false, misleading, defamatory, harassing, threatening, unlawful, spam, confidential, infringing, or unrelated to a genuine customer experience.

14. Third-Party Platforms, Links, and Tools

Our website may link to or use third-party platforms and tools, including payment processors, booking tools, forms, email providers, text messaging tools, DocuSign, social media platforms, review platforms, advertising platforms, video platforms, website hosting providers, analytics tools, security tools, and embedded content.

We do not control third-party platforms. Your use of third-party websites, tools, apps, payment processors, or platforms is governed by their own terms, privacy policies, fees, and rules. We are not responsible for third-party errors, outages, fees, chargebacks, account restrictions, privacy practices, content, or security incidents.

15. Marketing, Offers, Affiliate Links, and Sponsored Content

We may share information about our services, training tips, digital products, online lessons, subscriptions, partner offers, affiliate links, discount codes, sponsored content, or pet-related products and services. We may receive compensation, commissions, free products, discounts, or other benefits from some links, recommendations, or brand partnerships.

Unless we clearly disclose otherwise and obtain any required consent, we do not provide your personal contact information to unrelated third parties for their own marketing purposes.

16. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the website or online materials to: violate any law; interfere with website security; scrape, copy, or harvest content or data; upload malware; impersonate another person; submit false or misleading information; harass or threaten anyone; infringe intellectual property rights; attempt unauthorized access; reverse engineer or bypass access controls; misuse forms, payment links, or booking tools; or use our content to create competing products or services without written permission.

17. Disclaimer of Warranties

The website, online content, forms, digital products, and linked tools are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and uninterrupted operation.

We do not guarantee that the website will be error-free, secure, uninterrupted, up to date, or free of harmful components.

18. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lone Star Dog Training and Care LLC, its owners, members, managers, employees, contractors, agents, representatives, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, punitive, or similar damages arising from or related to website use, online content, digital products, payment tools, third-party platforms, service inquiries, booking tools, or reliance on website information.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, any liability arising from website use or online materials is limited to the amount you paid directly to us for the specific website-related product or service giving rise to the claim, or one hundred dollars ($100), whichever is greater. This limitation does not apply where prohibited by law.

19. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Lone Star Dog Training and Care LLC, its owners, members, managers, employees, contractors, agents, representatives, affiliates, and service providers from and against any claims, demands, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorney’s fees, arising from or related to your website use, violation of these Terms, misuse of our content, inaccurate or incomplete information you provide, failure to disclose relevant dog health or behavior information, violation of law, infringement of rights, or dispute involving your dog, household, submitted content, or third-party account.

20. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. To the extent a dispute is not governed by a separate signed agreement, any dispute arising from or related to website use, online content, digital products, or these Terms shall be handled in Texas, and venue shall be in the appropriate court or dispute-resolution forum serving Williamson County, Texas, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

21. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. The updated version will be posted on the website with a new "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the website after changes are posted means you accept the revised Terms.
